The production was originally created for Planetarium EC1 in the central Polish city of Łódź, considered one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in Central Europe.

The planetarium features a 14-metre spherical screen with a resolution of more than 32 million pixels, delivering image quality eight times higher than HD.

Planetarium EC1 described the award-winning work as "an innovative fusion of classical music and modern visual art that takes viewers on a journey through outer space."

The production premiered last year to mark the 150th anniversary of Holst's birth. The British composer's iconic suite The Planets had its world premiere on November 15, 1920, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra under Albert Coates.

The composition consists of seven movements, each named after a planet: Mars, the Bringer of War; Venus, the Bringer of Peace; Mercury, the Winged Messenger; Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity; Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age; Uranus, the Magician; and Neptune, the Mystic.
